The maison
One watch, refined until nothing remained to remove.
A narrow palette. A long timeframe. No collection for the sake of a collection.
Why one watch
Éclat Temps began with an irritation: almost every watch sold today is trying to be several watches at once. A dial crowded with text. A bezel printed with a scale nobody uses. Three logos where one would have been too many.
So we set ourselves a harder brief — draw a single chronograph, and keep removing from it until taking one more thing away would break it. What survived is a 47 mm case, three subdials, a date at three o'clock, and a set of applied markers that do the work a printed dial usually asks of ink.
It is offered in five finishes and nothing else. Steel reads most formal. Gold is warmest under evening light. Blue and black sit closest to everyday tailoring. Same case, same movement, same bracelet — five temperatures of the same idea.
How we work
Three rules we do not break.
-
01
Proportion before ornament
Every decision starts with how the case sits on a wrist and how the dial reads at arm's length. Decoration is what is left over, not what we begin with.
-
02
Say the numbers plainly
47 mm across, 15 mm thick, Japanese quartz, mineral crystal, rain-resistant but not built for swimming. We would rather lose a sale than describe a watch as something it is not.
-
03
No manufactured urgency
No countdown clocks, no invented original prices, no stock counters. If the watch is right for you, it will still be right for you tomorrow.
The object
Four places the work shows.
The dial, where applied markers replace printed text. The bracelet, sized by removable links rather than a compromise. The wrist, where 47 mm has to earn its space. And the dark, where the lume does its quiet job without a single line added to the face.

The intent
“A watch should be the quietest thing you are wearing, and the last one anyone forgets.”
